Before I even began my education to become a midwife – I planned to be a private midwife and attend homebirths. For over 24 years I have been on call for women giving birth. Homebirth is my passion but now it’s time to step aside and help facilitate other midwives entering into private midwifery practice. As of the 30th June 2021 I have stopped attending births. If you are looking for a midwife for home or hospital birth, I recommend contacting Midwives at Sydney – www.facebook.com/MidwivesAtSydneyBeyond.
I am continuing in private midwifery practice. The services I offer include:
- Preconception care (including genetic carrier screening)
- Shared midwifery care with Westmead Hospital
- Birth and parenting education
- Postnatal Care
- Lactation consultations
